Mums and Bubs yoga is a relaxed, playful class designed to help you regain postnatal strength, while bonding with your baby and with other mums in a relaxed, nurturing environment.
Mums and bubs yoga helps foster the relationship between mother and baby, involving baby in a range of yoga postures.

For mums, we focus on:
• Strengthening the pelvic floor, abdomen, legs and back
• Opening and relaxing tensions in the shoulders, neck and arms
• Improving circulation and encouraging good posture
• Reducing fatigue and increasing relaxation

For bubs: baby yoga assists in postural and muscular development, social connection and relaxation.

Each class finishes with deep relaxation.


What is the cost?
Pay for the six-week course upfront for $100. If you miss a class, you may attend a regular flow or yin class as a make-up. You may also pay per class: $20 if you pre-purchase via the website / MindBody App or $25 at the door. What do I need to bring?
A blanket for your baby, water, a towel and a yoga mat if you have one (or you can use one of ours).

What if my baby cries?
This is normal and nothing to worry about! This is a baby-centred class that encourages mums to feed, change and comfort their baby when needed. With each other’s support you will be able to find a balance between doing yoga for yourself and meeting the needs of your baby.

What if my baby is hungry?
You are encouraged to feed your baby whenever they’re hungry. You can stay in the class or step outside and sit on the couch if you’re more comfortable.

What age babies can participate?
This class is perfect for babies who are not yet crawling; approximately 6 weeks to 8 or 9 months.

Are dads allowed?
Absolutely! Our classes are perfect for fostering the relationship between dad and bub. We combine strengthening yoga postures with breathing, meditation and relation techniques that benefit both mums and dads.

Are beginners welcome?
Yes! Mums and Bubs yoga is perfect for those with no yoga experience through to experienced yogis getting used to their new postnatal bodies. The six-week course is designed to develop strength and body awareness and will introduce you to new postures each week.
